History} Here
Personality}
This is Henry: he’s a near constantly sunny dark mage. And sunny is likely the most apt description of him. It’s been pointed out from at least two different people that his cheery disposition doesn’t match his job description. He’s a near opposite from the other recruitable dark mage in the game. While she sticks to being sour and generally unenthusiastic about most things, Henry’s unfailingly cheerful and is constantly pleased when he’s in a war.

Of course, just because he’s a weird dark mage, doesn’t mean that he doesn’t have darker thoughts and actions. The only reason that he joined The Shepherds was because he thought he could fight more with them than against them. He also doesn’t have a single issue killing animals to be used as sacrifices for his curses. Just because he’s cheery and upbeat doesn’t mean that he isn’t cruel underneath it all. Not that he makes any attempts to hide his cruelty. He’ll freely state what he’s done and what he’s planning on doing, even if the company he’s in finds his ideas disturbing. His support conversations generally have the second person thinking Henry’s odd in one way or another. Still, the healers in the group tend to appreciate him and his very strange brand of helping or comforting them.

If people voice objection to his plans, he will usually obey their orders. He’s a very accommodating person that way. However, if he thinks the orders are stupid, he won’t hesitate to “cut them in half and feed them to the crows.” Fortunately, the orders he considers stupid are “don’t kill the enemy” anything else and he’s ready and willing to do them, this includes menial chores, such as organizing strategy books.

He has no issues with death, as he puts it; everybody’s going to die eventually so there’s no real reason to get upset about it. And when everybody’s dead, they’ll all meet up again in the afterlife. However, he also doesn’t want to die with “ouchies,” and has prepared a curse to kill himself or others off without any pain. He’s stated he’s willing to cast it on a comrade who was worried about dying, as a way to comfort her about the inevitability of death.

Henry actually does have more issues than being cruel. His parents did absolutely anything to get rid of him: abandoning him in the woods, sending him off to wizard school and mage camp. As a result Henry was mostly raised by animals and has a soft spot for them. He also says that his best friend was a giant wolf and when she was killed Henry took revenge by killing the people who killed the wolf. In his supports with people who ride on animals, Henry has a clear love and respect of the animals- even if the animal might not have much affection for him at first. He’s also said that he loves dogs, and wouldn’t hurt them. He also says that he’s been playing hide and seek with a black cat. Despite his love of animals, he won’t hesitate to kill an animal if it’s for a curse for somebody he considers a friend.

Oddly Henry generally doesn’t hold grudges, even to people who’ve killed his comrades. Henry joined with The Shepherds even after they’ve killed off a lot of the Henry’s former army. He doesn’t seem at all upset with the Shepherds. However, he does say that if any of The Shepherds were killed, he’d hunt down their killers and exact bloody vengeance.

Going back to Henry’s treatment by his parents, the mage has some abandonment issues. The reason he’s so constantly obliging is because he doesn’t want to be left alone again. In his support with a Taguel, a person who can turn into a giant rabbit, he begs her not to leave him and actually seems upset.

In a support conversation with a Dancer, Henry’s put through “frowning lessons,” but never actually learns the skill. The Dancer also states that none of Henry’s smiles ever look genuine, and calls them hollow. Henry insists that he’s simply a happy guy; however, he does continue to attend the lessons, even if he thinks they’re silly.

Abilities}
Henry is a dark mage, with an A rank in spell books, what this translates to being able to use any kind of spell book: wind, fire, thunder and darkness spells are all things that come easily to him. He also comes with a C rank in staves, which are essentially healing magic. In addition, he’s a master at the art of curses and dispelling curses. Certain curses require him to use a living sacrifice, such as his dreamless sleep curse; he’ll usually find birds for that.

He can talk to any living thing, birds, trees, grass, maggots, name it and he can talk to it- just as long as subject is alive.

He has nerve damage and thus is very slow to feel pain.

Technically Henry class can be Dark Mage, Sorcerer, Dark Knight, Warrior, Berserker, Assassin or Trickster and each one comes with two skills.

Each class changes what weapons he has access to, but the class skills stack and in game a player can pick and choose between 5 class skills, just as long as Henry’s been that class before.

Baggage}
1 set of clothing
1 Ruin tome (20)
1 Thoron tome (25)
1 Nosfertu tome (20)
